Liquid transfer: key facts

PENPET Logistics transfers and fills liquids on behalf of customers. All common routes between tanker, IBC, drum and canister or small container are possible – in both directions. We handle non-flammable liquids only. Water-hazardous liquids are handled in Bobzin within the site's WGK approval.

How a transfer job works

  1. Check: you send the safety data sheet, quantity and source and target containers. We check whether and at which site the substance may be handled.
  2. Delivery: tankers Mon–Fri 07:00–12:00, packaged goods during goods receipt hours.
  3. Transfer: into the agreed containers; whether you supply them or we source them is agreed in the quote.
  4. Weighing: tankers and loads on the truck scale in Bobzin.
  5. Labelling and palletising: to your specification, packaging material on site.
  6. Next step: storage with us or dispatch.

Which liquids we do not handle

We do not transfer combustible or flammable liquids. The safety data sheet is decisive; if in doubt, we check the substance before you place the order and give you a binding answer.

Water-hazardous liquids

For water-hazardous substances the WGK approval of the Bobzin site applies, see hazardous materials & WGK storage. Such transfers take place there, not in Wittenburg.

Why transfer in the warehouse

Storage, transfer, weighing and dispatch stay in one hand. That saves the trip to a separate toll filler and another interface in the supply chain.

What we need for a quote

  • Substance and safety data sheet
  • Source and target container with fill quantity
  • Total quantity and time window
  • Special requirements for containers or labelling

We also repack solids: big bag repacking and bagging.
