2. Collection and processing of personal data

We collect and process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide our website and services. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (performance of a contract) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.

3. Contact form

When you use our contact form, the data you enter (name, company, e-mail, phone, message) is processed in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is used exclusively to answer your enquiry and is not passed on to third parties. Transmission is encrypted to a server operated by PENPET itself in Germany. For sending notification and confirmation e-mails we use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH) as a processor. Your details are deleted after 24 months.

4. Hosting

This website is operated with a German or European hosting provider. When the website is accessed, server log files are stored automatically (IP address, date/time, pages accessed, browser type). This data cannot be attributed to a specific person and is not merged with other data sources (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

This website uses cookies. Technically necessary cookies are set without consent (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For optional cookies (e.g. analytics, marketing) we obtain your consent via Cookiebot (Cybot A/S, Denmark). You can withdraw your consent at any time. 6. Web analytics with Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics evaluates how visitors use our website, for example pages viewed, time spent, the previously visited page, device, browser and approximate location. We use these statistics to improve the website. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.

Google Analytics is only loaded once you consent to the “Statistics” category in the cookie banner. It then sets the cookies _ga and _ga_4CKPLLM6XY, which distinguish visitors by means of a random identifier and are deleted after two years. Google automatically deletes the usage data stored in Google Analytics after 14 months.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA in the process. The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for the USA (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework), under which Google LLC is certified. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Map display (OpenStreetMap)

On the home page we show a site map as an image that is loaded from our own server (map data © OpenStreetMap contributors); no data is transmitted to third parties. In addition, we offer an interactive map display via OpenStreetMap. This map is not loaded automatically: only when you click "Load interactive map" is map data retrieved from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, transmitting your IP address in the process (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Please address requests to: info@penpet-logistics.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
